Flash Blogging for Autism

On the final day of Autism Awareness Month, autistic celebration was taken to a whole new level as thousands rallied around the world blogging about positive messages concerning autism. Flash blogging is a form of activism where people post on blogs and in comment sections about the same topic on the same day. Promoting a celebratory approach to autism is important to fighting the stigma that often goes along with being autism. When people read positive messages instead of just rallies for a “cure” the emphasis is put on the person instead of the label.
